We
have come up with fun activities to teach the children the letter formations
and to help them identify the Capital and Small form of each alphabet. This
week we have specially focused on the alphabet /s/ and continued on with the
Jolly song that we have already learnt for the alphabet. This time out little
tots made a beautiful craft of Mr. Hiss, the snake. As they sang along with
their own little Mr. Hiss, it not only helped them recognize the letter but
also helped them to develop their motor skills.
Here’s the song that they were singing
while doing the craft:
The snake is in the grass
The snake is in the grass
/sssss/!
/sssss/!
The snake is in the grass.
